The Annikki Poetry Festival is wrapped up for this year — and what a day it was! Eleven incredibly rich hours of world-class poetry, literature, visual art and music... ❤ Words are not enough to describe the gratitude we feel towards our wonderful performers, our dedicated audience who listened with such devotion despite the occasionally challenging weather, our tireless volunteers, and all our partners! Luckily we can still relive the festival's highlights through photos (Facebook + Instagram) and videos (coming soon).
The 18th Annikki Potry Festival, took place on 6 June 2026, will celebrate Finland’s linguistic diversity and international atmosphere with the theme Babel Finland. As always, the festival presented a rich programme of outstanding Finnish and international poetry performers, prose breaks, music, programme for children, visual art, a festival park with free programme, a after party, a book bazaar, and much more — all within the unique festival setting of the over 100-year-old Annikki Wooden Quarter.
